About Sofeya Graham
Struggles beget blessings. It’s something I think about every morning when my feet hit the floor. I am blessed, I am happy, and I am whole.
My name is Sofeya Graham, and I’d like to tell you how I got here.
Not everyone can wake up and know exactly what they want to do and get started immediately. I certainly didn’t—at least not at every stage of my life.
When my plans to study therapy in college hit a financial wall, I enlisted in the US Army. I happily and proudly served my term. After my service, and armed with my first-born daughter, I was ready to finish my college education. By the time I finished college, I was married and added two sons to my family. I looked great and appeared successful on the outside, but that isn’t how I felt. I dove into my spirituality, determined to find what I was looking for. You can fight every day to fulfill your destiny, but without support, the spirit is further drained.
My mind, body, and soul were weary from an unhappy marriage. I fasted and prayed for a way out. I knew deep in my heart that my purpose was bigger, and that in order to begin healing myself, I had to put myself first. But I still didn’t know how. Divorce, dating, and two babies later, I was still feeling unloved, unwanted, and struggling to see the brighter side. I was nearly directionless searching for my purpose.
Somewhere deep in my heart, I knew that happiness could be a part of my life again. I knew that feeling like my whole self—beautiful, gracious, kind, and full of laughter—was attainable. After all, if it happened once, it could happen again.
I created a power self-focused mantra using daily affirmations to change my mindset. Over time, with incredible work and a commitment to myself and my purpose, I found the person I knew I have always been. I found Sofeya. And better yet, I loved who I found.
I have been where you are and I am passionate about helping you to reach above and beyond. Sometimes it just takes a person who has walked a mile in your shoes to assure you that the journey gets easier.
When we work together, we will employ strategies to overcome and conquer what you feel is hindering your growth. When you put in the work and hold your purpose in your heart, you will heal—mind, body, and soul.
Let me show you how struggles beget blessings.
